How does Vital 110 save employees money?

Vital 110 provides savings in three important ways:

(1) It gives employees access to routine healthcare services without co-pays or deductibles.

(2) As an IRC Section 125 plan, Vital 110 premiums are paid for with pre-tax funds, which reduces the amount subject to taxes (FICA).

How does Vital 110’s facial scan work?

With a quick facial scan, your smartphone camera captures tiny changes in light reflected from the blood vessels in your face. Advanced technology translates those signals into accurate readings of your heart rate, blood pressure, breathing rate, oxygen saturation, stress levels, and more.

Are the results of an individual’s facial scans private?

Yes. Biometric data is never stored. Your scan results are HIPAA-compliant and are never shared with employers or unauthorized parties.

What happens with the results of a facial scan?

Data remains confidential and under HIPAA protections. Employees control their information and may choose to share results with personal physicians or a Vital 110 board-certified provider. Behind the scenes, the system monitors trends and flags changes—like rising blood pressure—so employees get timely alerts while their privacy remains fully protected.


Is an employee's personal data and information secure?

Yes. The platform is fully HIPAA-compliant and SOC 2 Type II certified. Security practices include data encryption, access controls, ongoing monitoring, and independent audits to protect sensitive information.

Does HCI sell employee data?

No. Health Compass does not sell personal or health data.
